What is Takamura Cutlery?
Opened in 1910, this knife production factory is located in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture. We were the first to manufacture knives from new materials such as powder high-speed steel and powder stainless high-speed steel, and over 50 years ago we began developing stainless steel knives, which were still rare at the time.
