He currently produces a wide range of knives, from kitchen knives for the average household to custom knives, making knives using his outstanding skills and creativity. What is Aogami Super Steel?

It is one of the Yasugi steels produced by Hitachi Metals. The steels generally used for knives are blue paper steel and white paper steel, but the most expensive of these, blue paper super steel, is known as the pinnacle of steel.
It has excellent toughness, hardness, and abrasion resistance. It is a popular steel material with hardness comparable to that of high-speed stainless steel.
