What is Yamamoto Uchi Hamono?
Yamamoto is a traditional craftsman of Echizen Uchi Hamono. He produces a wide range of forged double-edged knives and other knives. He exhibited at the All Nippon Knife Show in 2008, the Seki Outdoor Knife Show in 2009, and won the Ars Award at the All Nippon Knife Show in Kobe in 2013. He founded Yamamoto Uchi Hamono in the same year and was certified as a traditional craftsman in 2019.

What is white steel?
This high-quality steel is made from iron sand and contains a high amount of carbon and has sub-zero synthetic components. By being forged by hand, the steel becomes harder, more resistant to bending, and has an exceptionally sharp cutting edge.
