Who is Katsuyasu Kamo?
A traditional craftsman of Echizen blades. He was appointed as the first chairman of Takefu Knife Village, and in 2016 he received the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Rosette and the Traditional Crafts Service Award. He has received numerous awards and has been featured in magazines and on TV. In pursuit of "beautiful sharpness," he is dedicated to training successors and promoting the development of Echizen blades.
