What is Aogami No. 2 Steel?

Aogami steel, a type of Yasugi steel, is a Japanese steel made by adding chromium and tungsten to Shirogami steel. Aogami No. 2 contains a high amount of carbon, making it hard, tough, and highly wear-resistant, thus classifying it as a premium steel.
