Takamura Cutlery was founded after the end of the war with the belief in "good materials, good forging and heat treatment, and good sharpening."
Takamura Hamono knives are made without relying on machines, with craftsmen checking every step visually and carefully crafting each and every knife. They put their heart and soul into even the parts that customers cannot see, and their perfection is highly praised by professional chefs and they are widely used both in Japan and overseas. These knives are made with no compromise on quality, so much so that they captivate those who use them.
We make our products so thoroughly according to our policies that it is said to be the "royal road" of knife making.
They continue to make "good things", mass-produce them, and their promotions and branding are straightforward and perfect.
Takamura Cutlery has such a deep expertise that there is no question they cannot answer when it comes to knowledge and techniques regarding knives. The encounter was also special. The representative of the Knife Gallery had a strong desire to handle the products, so he made a direct offer, and a connection was born.

Takamura Knives was founded after WWII with the belief in “good materials, good forging/heat treatment, and good sharpening.” Our knives are carefully crafted one by one, without relying on machines, every process under the eye of a craftsman. Our lads put their whole heart and soul into it, even in the parts that customers never see. Their perfectionism is known by professional chefs in Japan and abroad. We cannot compromise on quality in any way.
Not only in production. Fine knives come out of manufacturing, but that is not the end. We strive for perfect promotion and branding. This is what we call our “royal road.”
