Seki City in Gifu Prefecture is known for the mass production of knives, but there are very few craftsmen who specialize in sharpening.
In this environment, Kei Kobayashi, with his unique background as a self-researcher, stepped away from traditional mass production to build his own brand.
Kobayashi's knives boast unparalleled precision in their sharpening techniques. They are sharpened uniformly, resulting in beautiful blade lines. They also maintain a quality close to that of Takamura's, with no chips in the blade finish.

Kobayashi's knives boast unparalleled precision in their polishing techniques. The uniform sharpening process, which differs from Ironclad, is characterized by the extremely beautiful lines of the blade. In addition, the quality of the blade finish remains close to Takamura's with no chips at all.
