Q: About gift wrapping
A: This service is available for a fee. Please place your order together with the product from this page.
We do not offer a message card or gift wrapping service. Sorry.
Q: Can I order products that are out of stock online?
A: Please register your email address via “Notify me when available” on the product page and wait for the item to be restocked.
Q: Can I add items to my order after placing it?
A: If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able to combine additional items with your existing order. Please contact us as soon as possible via the inquiry form.
Please note that depending on the status of your order or the items ordered, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
Q: Can you issue a delivery note or receipt?
A: Knife Gallery does not enclose a delivery note or receipt, in order to protect the local environment and your personal information. You can print out your notification email after shipment.
Q: Will customs duties apply?
A: Customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that we are unable to answer inquiries regarding customs duty charges. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: Is the international shipping fee the same for all countries?
A: In principle, international shipping fees are the same for all countries. However, shipping fees may differ for certain regions. The final shipping fee will be displayed during checkout, so please be sure to check it before completing your order.
Q: Can you ship to hotels?
A: Yes, it is possible.
When placing your order, please be sure to include the name and address of your hotel, the name under the reservation, and your check-in and check-out dates.
If this information is not provided and we do not receive a reply to our email, your order will be canceled after 7 days. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: Do you offer any other services such as resharpening?
A: If you wish to have your knives resharpened by mail, we can do so for a fee for knives purchased at Knife Gallery. Please contact us using the inquiry form.
Q: What is the name of Takamura Knives' knives?
A: All of the knives sold at the Knife Gallery are labeled “Takamura Saku”.
Q: Is it possible to put my name on the knives?
A: Yes, it is possible. Please place your order here.
The name is engraved by needle or laser, depending on the product.
Q: Do you sell wooden knife sheaths?
A: Yes, we do. However, please note that if you purchase only the sheath without the corresponding knife, there is a possibility that the sheath may not fit properly.
For iron sheaths, we check compatibility with our knives before shipping. Nevertheless, due to individual differences, a perfect fit cannot be guaranteed. We kindly ask for your understanding in advance.
